How SpendBeacon collects, uses, and protects your personal and financial data.

Who we are
SpendBeacon (“we”, “us”) provides personal finance tools at spendbeacon.app and related mobile apps. For privacy questions, contact us via the Contact page.
What we collect
Account data (email, name, auth identifiers), transaction and budget data you import or enter, billing status from our payment provider, device/app diagnostics needed to run the service, and messages you send through Contact support.
How we use data
We use your data to provide the product (import, categorize, budgets, insights), authenticate you, process subscriptions, improve reliability and security, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal financial data.
AI processing
Optional Premium AI features may send limited samples (for example CSV column mapping or categorization) to our AI providers. We send the minimum needed for the feature and do not use your data to train public models through SpendBeacon.
Retention & your rights
You can export transactions and request account deletion in Settings. We retain data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after deletion requests, subject to legal or billing record requirements.
Security & international transfers
Traffic uses HTTPS/TLS; passwords are hashed. Hosting and processors may store data in the EU/US under appropriate safeguards. See also our Security page.
