How to import your bank statement (CSV & Excel)
Step-by-step: export a statement from your bank and import it into SpendBeacon, including unsupported banks via our universal AI importer.
Export your statement
Log in to your bank and export transactions as CSV or Excel for the period you want. Most banks offer this under Transactions or History.
Upload to SpendBeacon
Open the import wizard, drop your file, and preview the detected transactions. We auto-detect columns for major banks.
Unsupported bank? Use AI import
If your bank isn't recognized, our AI maps your file's columns to the right fields using only a small sample of rows - then applies the mapping to everything locally.
Review and confirm
Check the preview, fix any categories, and confirm. Duplicates are skipped automatically.
